Meet the Best School in Northeastern Thailand : UDONPITTAYANUKOON!

So, if you are a Teacher who loves to teach somewhere far, somewhere cozy and somewhere awesome! You should go to Udonpittayanukoon, a Public Secondary School!
Yes, its a long name, but you can call it “Udonpit”.
This school is the Best school in Northeast (Isan) of Thailand and Ranked 11th in the Country (2013). Why this school is best in Isan? Read along~

The school which has Blue and Pink as its main color was established in 21 September 1902 (it was Boys School), same age as Udon Thani Province, makes it become the major provincial school in Udon Thani. This school is a leading/prototype school for many national education projects!
Fact about this School :

• Located in 77 Srisuk Road, Mak Khaeng, Mueang, Udon Thani, 41000, Thailand.
• Operates : 1-6 Mathayom (7 – 12 Grades)
• It has 4.953 Students which is 2.337 males and 2.615 females
• It has 111 Classroom

ACADEMIC SUPPORT SYSTEM
The school provide a lot of academid support system. In International Program, there are rooms for tutoring sessions, supplemental courses or counsel the trouble students.

Classroom-Based Strategies : Every teacher has student’s logbook either offline and online to monitor students performance and learning needs.

School-Based Strategies : There are many workshops to enhance students understanding of their topics. The teacher in there help students who has struggle in academic.

MATERIALS AND OTHER LEARNING SOURCES
Udonpittayanukoon has various material for learning. Many kind of book can be borrow from the school library and also each departement library. You can find book easily in every building.

The internet access can be used to find some materials for learning. Students and teacher has an account to access internet with a high-speed connectivity.

For learn about health and sport, you can find a huge soccer field, sport hall, and a divided field for futsal, volleyball, and basketball. In my observation, students always use these places for learning or just playing.

MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION SYSTEM
I don’t know about the rest of the school, but in International Program they have standard indicator for assess the students. For scoring, there are scale from 1- 100 to assess student’s work. These score will be accumulated in the end of the semester and it will be converted into each grading levels which is :
Excellent, Good, Pass and Fail
