SOURCE OF LEARNING AND TECHNOLOGY
As i said in previous post, source of learning that teacher use are textbook and another material from internet such as power point, videos or animation from internet. Some teacher show the students youtube video about an experiment and then ask them question about WHAT, WHY and HOW that can be happen.
The teacher doesn’t directly show teach students through power point that they downloaded from internet. They always edit it, attach more pictures and search another example that explains the concepts. All about power-point things can be read in My Teaching Materials
For technology that use in teacher’s teach is Interactive Whiteboard (IW). It’s called interactive because we can touch the screen like a second monitor in our laptop. There are two special pens for touching the screen. This pen can be used like board marker. What i love from this pen is we can do both write and erase our ideas.
The IW provide a two mode which is display mode (like a screen projector) and writing mode. Mr. Mark teach us to use this technology in the second week. He said that IW is convenient because they don’t need to erase manually one by one (we can erase all our writing by click erase all). The other part that i love is we can freeze the screen in specific slides, so we can explain the process of our content briefly.
