Teacher is just like Lotus : Grow through the dirt and mud, Bloom out from the darkness to radiate the world with the Light.
Saturday Coming!
I smell something salty, I feel something wet, I touch something gently.
Here we are, the first trip of our program in Udon Thani, Thailand!
Goes to Red Lotus Sea or Lake? Maybe both. But before that, let’s turn back from the early morning.
04.00 – *Alarm Ringing* – Snooze it!
04.15 – *Alarm Ringing* – Snooze it Again!
04.30 – *Alarm Ringing* – WHAT TIME IS IT?!
Dang! I wake up late for today’s agenda! But it doesn’t matter because my lizard-like-bath just used up to 4-5 minutes. I’m sorry, deadline is my middle name.
FYI, today is first trip from UDRU (Receive University) in the program of SeaTeacher Batch-7. It’s a day which we can exchange our culture and see beauty in another country. And we have to meet at 5.00 a.m near front gate of University (Near ATM).
So, the first challenge is done, we are going to Red Lotus Sea by the Bus! Everyone back to sleep again. Except of me which i annoy our buddies which Orange, Victoria and Moss. I learned a lot of Thai words from them in the Road to Red Lotus. Chatay Leaow (I want to die) is the unforgetable words because it was very unique!
After a while, the Bus has already arrive at Red Lotus Lake. Before we go to Red Lotus Sea, we must make a group consist of 6 people from SeaTeacher members and the Buddies. I belong to the craziest group which consist of me, Dwi, and Widhi as SeaTeacher members and Orange, Frank and Victoria as our buddies.
We rent a boat which cost about 600 baht or about 100 baht each person (thankfully, UDRU (Receive University) has paid all our ticket expenses in every trip, Thank You). So lets the boat take sail! I mean motor-sail.
Did you know what is the reason why we need to come early in the morning? Obviously to make us feel so sleepy so we don’t ask too much. Nah just kidding, it’s because the Lotus will bloom perfectly in the morning, around 6-7 a.m. And here we are, the calmest yet dazzling feeling in my lifetime. Seeing the thousand of Lotus in the Lake.

I smell salty from fish and algae which live in the lake,
I feel my hand so wet when I splash the cold water,
and I touch Lotus gently to greet the blooming of the beauties in this Lake.
It’s so undefined experience, in this day I feel like I want to explore more another place, seeking their beauty, and travel more often! Thank you very much for this opportunity, grateful to become the chosen of this program.
After the sun rise more height, we back to the land, and went somewhere to see something Ancient, something Unique and something Local. MUSEUM!
