BUDDIES FOR LYFE!
Meeting someone is a linked destiny of many people –
Sawaatdii-khrap, this is the first day on my journey in Udon Thani Rajabhat University. The morning seems a little bit slower than in Indonesia, why? Because the sun is in the south hemisphere of earth. The weather was not too hot and not too cold and the water was not cold like the water in the city of Indonesia, Bandung, my beloved city.
In the morning, my roomates and i went to the Sevel or Seven Eleven to buy some breakfast. The prices in this store was not very different from Indonesia, some people said that the life’s cost in this country is cheap, i think it was true..
Shrimp Fried Rice! The first breakfast i had in Thailand. The taste is a little bit sour and spicy.
After this, we went to the Faculty of Education to begin the program. There are some opening speeches from vice president of UDRU, special performance and presentation from university and the host school.
Next, the training of thai languange or Pachatai from A-jarn Kintana (A-jarn means Teacher) . It was very funny, happy and most inspiring teaching languange i ever had, especially there is buddies who help us to learn Thai.
The buddies or Thai students who accompany us is very kind and a lot of joy, i think i will have another post to discuss about their awesomness.
The next agenda was a tour to Song-Prak or another campus of UDRU which is very huuuuge place. FYI, the UDRU that i stayed is the main campus. IT WAS VERY EMBARASSING MOMENT because i sleep a lot and wake up in the middle of the tour (the tour is by a van). There is a photo which became my true embarassement moment, but i like it.
Then, after the tour we went back to our campus to play a game with our buddies. The game just look like Guess the name of the movies, with the gestures as a hints.
Then, in the end the moment to select our buddies, it was hard to find but i finally met her, J-Nut and i also met Mel from Philliphine. And that’s all the Agenda for this long day.
So tomorrow is the Orientation day – 2, Goes to Udonpittayanukoon School, Lets GO!
